Yarn Along: Making Notes

DSCF9016

I don’t realize how messy my knitting notes get until I go back and try to knit the same pattern. You can see in the photo how I’ve been running out of space on my pattern as I knit the second sleeve for my Cranberry Pine sweater…so many tick marks! I know that there are stitch counters out there that might make it easier to keep track of my rows, but for now I’ll stick with the organized chaos of my pen and paper system.

Since arriving in Duncan I’ve not been able to find where I put my book, but I don’t want to give up on it so I haven’t picked up anything else yet, in the hopes I’ll find it in a bag previously unsearched.
